General Practice Extended Access Service

In order to offer evening and weekend appointments, the practices in South and East Leeds have joined together to open a 'Hub' where we can offer GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, Health Care Assistant, Pharmacist, Physiotherapy and Healthy Mind appointments. Some of the extended access services are virtual (i.e., by phone or video call) and some face to face (F2F).  The Extended Access Service is managed by the Leeds GP Confederation on our behalf.

Face-to-face appointments will be held at City View 123 Cemetery Rd, Holbeck, Leeds LS11 8LH.

  • Monday to Friday 18:30 to 20:00
  • Saturday 08:00 to 15:00
  • Sunday 08:00 to 15:00

If you are registered at the practice and would like to make a prebooked appointment with any of the services shown above, please contact your surgery. If you need to make a GP / Nurse / HCA appointment at the weekend, please dial 0113 2213709 Saturday 09.00 – 15.00, Sunday 09.00 – 15.00.

If your call falls outside surgery and extended access service hours and you feel you need to be seen urgently, please contact NHS 111.

Minor Injuries Unit

St George’s Urgent Treatment Centre, Middleton, Leeds LS10 4UZ.

The Minor Injuries Unit is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 22:30 by appointment only. Please ring 111 to arrange an appointment. The Minor Injuries Unit can:

  • See anyone who has had a recent injury
  • Bandage, stitch, put “pots” on and carry out other treatments
  • X-ray limbs
  • Supply medication for infections, pain and allergic reactions
  • Give advice about treatments, health promotion and further care
  • Refer to Specialists, GPs and other hospitals if required

We encourage our patients to attend the Minor Injuries Unit for the above conditions as it is often a quicker option than attending a hospital A & E Department.
